23 June. Day 24. 2755kms

This is a picture of what was once (so I was told) was the bustling main street of Creelman. Now the youngsters have left; houses havebeen knocked down to avoid estate tax and only a few old timers hang on.

One old boy (well, older than me!) showed me this next bungalow which, he told me was empty and was mine for less than $1000. (£500). No-one wants to live there any more.
It is interesting to compare the population of Canada with UK. We have 240 people/square km; Canada has 3! Yup, just 3 people to every square km. Wouldn't it be sensible to offer a few of the immigrants in Slough who are sleeping 10 to a room the chance to fill some of that empty space?
