The Trans Canada highway--more like a farmtrack in places.

You know, if I were starting out in life again and picking some place to live, Lancaster County and the area South of Ottawa would be in the top 10. It is rural peace at its best. Small, tranquil towns; grazing cattle and crystal streams. It is close to paradise.




 

Thanks to the British, who built a military canal to ferry troops and supplies, the citizens of Ottawa can now boat the Rideau Canal all the way to the Great Lakes
